Contraindications
An ionic body detox and cleanse footbath should NOT be used by:
- Persons with a Pacemaker or any other battery-operated or electrical implant.
- Person who is on heartbeat regulating medication;
- Pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers.
- Organ transplant recipients.
- Persons having an organ removed, especially the colon.
- Persons taking a medication, the absence of which would mentally or physically incapacitate them, e.g., psychotic episodes, seizures, et cetera.
IMPORTANT… users should also be aware of the following:
- Persons should not wear metal, use a computer or cellular phone during an ionic body detox and cleanse footbath session.
- Persons with low blood sugar should eat before using the ionic body detox footbath.
- Though not dangerous, persons having a metal joint implant may find exposure to the electromagnetic field generated by the ionic body detox foot bath to be uncomfortable. In the event of discomfort, stop using the ionic body detox and cleanse footspa immediately.
- Persons taking prescription medication should take meds after or four hours prior to their ionic body detox and cleanse footspa session.
- Because an ionic body detox foot spa is designed to aid the body in eliminating toxins that the kidney and liver cannot eliminate on their own, as a general rule, it may be used by persons on dialysis or by those diagnosed with diabetes or congestive heart failure. However, persons with these conditions, or any other medical condition, should consult their physician prior to implementing the ionic body detox and cleanse foot spa as part of their wellness program.
- In addition to toxins being pulled out bloodstream by osmosis and diffusion during the ionic home body detox and cleanse footspa session, valuable electrolytes (calcium, potassium, sodium, and magnesium) can also be purged from the body. To safeguard against this possibility, users are encouraged to take a multivitamin supplement that provides the aforementioned minerals, as well as fatty acids and vitamin C. We recommend replacing electrolytes and minerals with natural food and/or mineral sources. We are very impressed with one very special whole food formula we have come across.
