Colon & Intestinal Cleanses

The unique wall structure of the large intestine is such that we are all carrying stool since we were a baby. There is layer after layer of stool build-up in the space between the finger- like projections or villi of the large intestine. Even if you are having regular bowel movements and taking a cleanser or some other herbal laxative, those layers remain.
Even though ion detox foot baths like Aqua Health Ionizer are very effective in aiding the body's detoxification and cleanse function, they do not help the body pull toxins from the large intestines (colon) as well as they do from tissue or other organs. This is because of the complex structure of the large intestine walls. While the structure of the colon wall is effective for maximum absorption of water and nutrients, this structure also results in toxins being trapped in the solid layers of stool buildup on the colon lining.
