HOW MUCH COLOR CHANGE AND PARTICULATE IS FROM MY FOOT?

Possible Calibration Techniques:

As discussed on the homepage (water color explanation), the color change and the particulate formation you observed can only be used as crude indicators of the toxins being detoxified from your body; this was explained by the fact that only a small percentage of the water change is actually due to material being pulled out from your body. Most color change is from the unit consuming the metals in the array during the ion generating process, and from these generated ions neutralizing dissolved particles, salt, and toxin in the water, (in the same manner as it would have neutralizes toxins drawn out of your body).

Because almost all of the color change could be due to the regional toxicity in the water supply used for the bath and the leaching from the array metal (depending on it's stainless steel composition), should you run the system without your feet, you will still observe color changes, only different then when your feet is in the water; even if it may not appear to be different, it is. It's just that the more intense color effect caused by the array and salt has masked the fainter color change produced by materials leaving your body.

If you were able to calibrate and roughly subtract the color effect due to the sea salt added and the leaching from the metals of the array,  you could actually use the unit to either measure your toxicity or observe the toxicity of your regional water supply. A possible way to do this approximate calibration comparison technique is  to first establish the reference color change that represents no chemicals contaminants in the water (other than from the sea salt added and from the leaching of  the metals of the array ); this reference color can be established by running the unit without your feet, using distilled water. If you run the unit with distilled water,  the color change you observe does not include the effect from the regional water supply; however, it still includes the change due to the sea salt you add as well as from the  leaching of the metals of the ion generating array. To evaluate your toxicity by making a comparison, run the unit with your feet in distilled water. To evaluate the toxicity of your regional water supply, run the unit without your feet using the regional water supply, and compare this result to the reference result using distilled water (both without feet).

To make an accurate comparison, it is required that you use the same amount water, and add exactly the same amount of salt for each run; if you use different amount of salt and water, you cannot make a credible scientific comparison. You can only make a credible comparison if you are sure that the color change caused by the sea salt added and the array are the same for all runs. Make sure that the size/type of  array and the amount of sea salt added is the same for all runs!

Before sea salt is added, amperage reading and voltage is a property of the water and/or person whose feet is in the water. Because the initial starting amperage and/or voltage reading before sea salt is added will be slightly different from person to person and from water source to water source, the amount of sea salt we have to add to raise the amperage to the recommended highest starting value (usually between 1.2 to 2.0 amp) is going to be slightly different from person to person. Even though this initial amperage reading and/or voltage is naturally different from person to person and from one water source to another, to do an effect detox we artificially raise amperage to highest safe level, by adding sea salt, just so we can generate a high concentration of negative ions. Forcing the current to be at the same high value of 1.2 to 2.0 for everyone, has an impact on the color you observed; the colors will tend to look more the same for everyone. In conclusion, given that color change, is heavily  influenced by the amount of sea salt added and that we are systematically just adding the right amount of additional sea salt to force starting amperage to increase to the same high optimal value for everyone, then we are also, in a sense, forcing color change to be the same or very similar for everyone in the same geographical region because we are all using the same water supply source and eating the same foods with the same toxins in general.

Conclusion:
To truly observe the difference in water color from person to person, you need ignore voltage and amperage and just use the exact same amount of water and  salt for everyone! First determine and measure the amount of salt that will constantly give you an initial amperage reading in the required operating range for everyone without ever exceeding 2.0 operating amperage limit; next pre-measure multiple portions of  this same quantity to have them ready to quickly conduction multiple sessions. You may also make/mark a waterline mark on your tub to insure you are always using the same amount of water. If you conduct your sessions in this manner, you are going to notice that everyone will naturally have a slightly different staring voltage and amperage, reflecting differences in the natural salinity, acidity, and alkalinity of the user. The fact that these values are different is why the color changes is naturally different for each user after the same session length (30 minutes). Color change from one user to another naturally reflect the differences in the body stasis from one user to another.

Special Note:
Toxins in a user's body is going to be similar to the predominant geographic toxins. Because the human body is approximately 80 percent water, if you normally drink the same regional water supply that you use to run the unit, you will find that the color change produced by the water supply and the toxins from your body are very going to be very similar. If your regional water supply has a lot of material and toxins dissolved in it, you will find that you will not be able to distinguish any difference in the water color with when you run the machine with your feet and and without your feet; the reasoning is that the color produced by the regional water supply, will completely mask the less intense color effect caused by the toxins from you. To see a difference in the color produced with and without feet, we suggest using distilled water. Even so, the ability to distinguish the color effects with and without feet will still depend on the type of array metal you are using and how much salt is added (as discussed earlier above). This is, of course, why we say not to pay to much attention to water color!
